Taunting
Tuesday, November 13, 2007
You may remember taunting from the previous Smash Bros. games, but this one adds 3 to the mix. You can have a Up, Left and Right taunt. You can also set a button to a phrase that you enter before the match.

Zero Suit Samus has a Plasma Whip, and that can be used to grab onto the ledge if you fall off the ledge. Other chatacters can do this too, for example Link, he has the Clawshot.

Standard Combos
Monday, July 9, 2007
Alot of people can wear down the buttons of controllers by button mashing while trying to do combos, which isn't good. But now, all you have to do is hold down the button and you will execute the combo. You can still button mash, but this is the most efficient way to battle.

Smash Attacks
Thursday, July 5, 2007
What are Smash Attacks? Well, Smash attacks arepowerful moves that you can execute and make even stronger. I will explain them all here.
(Note: The b letter is lowercase for a reason, to implement that we are using the Classic Controller.
A = Wii-mote+Nunchuck, Gamecube Contoller
lowercase b = Classic Controller
1, 2 = Wii-mote (on its side)
Just to clarify.)
Standard Attack

This is when you press just the A, b or 2 button. This makes the character just attack.
Strong Attack

This is what happens then you walk and press the A, b or 2 button. This is a stronger attack, but not the strongest.
Smash Attack

This is the strongest normal attack you can use. You tap the +Control Stick quickly in anyway you want to Smash, while pressing the A, b or pressing the 1and 2 buttons at the same time.

You can also hold the +Control Stick and the buttons, and charge up the Smash. Master this, and you will be a pro Smasher in no time!

What is Super Smash Bros?

This is the main screen when in a battle in Brawl. You can see the character icons have been revamped for this game.

When you hit someone, whether its with an item, or physically, your opponent will deal damage.

The more damage the enemy has, the farther he will go flying.

When you get knocked off the stage, and there is no way of getting back, you lose a life. That will be deducted from your KO (Knock-Out) count. At the end of the battle, the person with the best score wins the round.

You Must Recover!
Friday, June 8, 2007
Just some recovery tips. If an enemy smashes you off the edge, just jump toward the stage, and use your Special Up move, and hopefully, you will end up on the stage again.

There are also ways to counter-recover. Long time Smashers will know how to recover and anti-recover.
