When Bonsly appears from the Poke Ball, He just walks around until someone picks him up, and chucks it at you. It has the ability to knock someone out at 50%, so watch out.

Devil
The Devil relly doesn't help you at all. He just shifts the screen depending on where he points. So he isn't helping you, he's just creating misery. IF you haven't guessed yet, he's an Assist Trophie.

The Pitfall item appeared in Animal Crossing, and in Brawl, its no different. You plant it on the ground, or you throw it at someone, and they fall through the ground.

DK's Final Smash is called the Konga Beat. DK breaks out the DK Bongos, and pounds away. You can press the buttons to the rhythm of the beat. Dk is invincible while this is executed.

That's right! The Bumper returns from the original game! If you didn't play the first one, you place it down, and players ricochet off of it. You can also through it at the players so they bounce off of it in mid-air.

Man, these characters are just crawling out of the woodwork. I mean Dr. Wright? For those wondering, Dr. Wright is from one of the original SimCity games for the SNES, which you can find on the Virtual Console.
What he does is he summons a bunch of skyscrapers, and they shoot out of the ground, sending the opponents flying.

What are Assist Trophies?

Assist Trophies are trophies that can summon a character that is not a playable character, but a character that you can use to fight with. Take for example Kirby, below. He summoned a Hammer Bros. He throws his hammers at the opponent. The Asstist Characters are invincible, so you wil have to run away, or face the pain. Oh, and the Nintendogs puppie is an Assist Character, too. Expect to see more of the Assist Characters to be some minor characters from other games.
