This is the main screen when in a battle in Brawl. You can see the character icons have been revamped for this game.
When you hit someone, whether its with an item, or physically, your opponent will deal damage.
The more damage the enemy has, the farther he will go flying.
When you get knocked off the stage, and there is no way of getting back, you lose a life. That will be deducted from your KO (Knock-Out) count. At the end of the battle, the person with the best score wins the round.
